April 23, 2007

Video footage of British melodic metal act AREA 54 performing a cover of MEGADETH's "Tornado of Souls" for the first time on April 2, 2007 at the Underworld in London has been posted at YouTube.

As previously reported, AREA 54 has set "Bring out Your Dead" as the title of its new album, due later in the year via an as-yet-undetermined label. The CD will feature artwork by Joachim Luetke (ARCH ENEMY, DIMMU BORGIR).

AREA 54's sophomore full-length effort, "Beckoning of the End", was released in April 2003 through Casket Records. The album, which was produced by Dave Chang, featured a guest appearance from ex-AT THE GATES/THE CROWN vocalist Tomas Lindberg. The band was previously signed to Dreamcatcher Records.
